When I found out this beautiful soul was expecting I knew photographing her would be a dream. She is a talented woman who radiates strength and creativity. I was literally jumping for joy when we got these lightning bolts of light to dance across her nearly full term belly. Lana & her husband recently welcomed their baby boy Zen (don’t you love his name) and I cannot wait to meet their sweet babe. I know the world is at his tiny fingertips with this fiery mom by his side.
Staying in touch with my wedding couples has been one of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer. I had the privilege of shooting Stacey and Arun’s engagement and wedding photos a few years ago and have enjoyed watching their family grow. Photographing families has allowed me to keep connecting with my couple’s as they experience another life changing event. In many cases, I was a new parent myself when their kids were born, so we’ve been on the same wonderful journey into parenthood. I adore this family and Henry always brings a smile to my face. I am so grateful for all my couple’s who continue to invite me into their lives to capture these sweet moments.
I absolutely adore this woman. We shot Jess & Joe's wedding a few years ago and have had the pleasure of staying in touch with them. When I found out they were expecting their first child, I couldn't wait to see her and catch up. Working with Jess is always a treat, but there was something about how she held herself at this shoot that was particularly strong and confident. Through various projects I've also met and photographed Jess' mother & grandmother, and it's very easy to see where she gets her beauty, determination, and passion for life. Recently Jess & Joe welcomed their baby boy and I am bursting with joy for them!
I was beyond excited with Ashley reached out to have me do her bridal portraits. I have shot Ashley many times over the years as she was one of the very first models I photographed during my time at the Art Institute. This shoot really felt full circle to me. Now ten years in, I have my dream business and get to work with incredible clients capturing once in a lifetime moments. We had such a great time catching up and I couldn't be happier for Ashley as she enters this next stage in her life!
I am so happy for this gorgeous woman. I've had the pleasure of shooting for Danielle and Carl since the early years of our business, and absolutely love them. We wanted this session to feel modern and romantic, and the images are truly favorites of mine. Danielle is a nurse and Carl recently graduated and is now Dr. Anderson (a huge congrats!), so we recreated a photo from their engagement session with their stethoscopes. These two are going to be incredible parents!
The world's cutest family award goes to these three! I have captured this couple in many different ways over the years, but as a family with Emilia is hands down my favorite. They're one of the most genuine couples I have ever met and are extraordinary parents. They're truly a family we admire and are grateful they're part of our lives.
I absolutely adore this maternity session. Their style is so classic and I love that they chose this look for their shoot. The images are so romantic and their connection is so effortless. The images of Lindsay on her own are definitely favorites of mine. Her white dress was stunning! Shortly after this session they welcomed their baby boy and I am so happy for them.
When Megan reached out to me with an idea for a velvet inspired shoot, I couldn't resist. I love the simplicity of the set up and how the texture and colors of the velvet take center stage. There is something dark and dreamy about it, even against the white wall. It was a true collaboration and I am thankful I was part of this fabulous team.

Boudoir continues to be one of my absolute favorite things to shoot. Jillian messaged me about doing this as a gift for her husband, but it was also something she wanted to do for herself. I think that's what I like most about these types of sessions. I love connecting with women, shooting them one on one in the studio, and ultimately helping them see their own unique beauty. I'm so excited every time I deliver a session and love the reactions to the photos. Having images that make you feel good about yourself is important. My collaboration with Jillian was perfect. I think these photos are a wonderful expression of who she is.
